All our procedures follow BDA guidelines for sterilization and disinfection. As per the latest DOH guidelines, we use disposable reamers and files for single sitting root canal treatments. Our crowns and bridges are made of the most recent and the best international materials such as Empress®, Procera®, Zirconia® etc. We go the extra mile in order to improve your smile with focus on facial aesthetics rather than the teeth only. IMPLANTS for ALL!
Your dentist may have ruled out dental implants for you because of lack of bone, bruxing, hospital admission ,finances, medical history etc. At PINTO DENTAL we are able to offer advanced implant techniques whereby we are able to restore lost jaw bone using your own bone or artificial bone and membranes. Being affiliated to Vintage Hospital, Goa, we are also able to offer hospital facilities if the case warrants it. While severe bruxing (tooth grinding) and smoking remain general contraindications to implant dentistry, patients with mild to moderate bruxism can be satisfactorily treated with progressive loading techniques. Being specialists with UK training we are able to take up complex cases turned down by others and at costs about a third that of the UK. We use European implants FRIALIT®, Bicortical®, ORATRONICS® and UNITI© along with E C approved artificial bone material and barrier membranes to build up bone. We are in a position to deliver single stage and double stage implant supported crowns, tooth in a day, implant supported or fixed dentures/bridges. We utilize transitional implants to allow you to have teeth while your two stage implants are integrating with bone. While a plain OPG X-Ray would suffice for an uncomplicated implant case, a 3D CT would be needed for more complex full mouth implant case. All patients will require to provide a full medical history and undergo a clinical examination prior to drawing up a detailed treatment plan. The time required would again vary for a single stage, two stage, with and without bone reconstruction implant treatment. Do feel free to  about the time schedules and costing.

SEDATION DENTISTRY FOR NERVOUS PATIENTS
Afraid of the dentist? Most patients anxieties are allayed by our extremely personalized and gentle approach. The fact that you are on holiday and the goan atmosphere being so laid back –sosegado- as we call it- helps. However for the dentophobic (those afraid of dental treatments) we provide safe chair side sedation orally or intravenously, or even full dental rehabilitation under day case general anesthesia if the case warrants it. These procedures are carried out in hospital-based settings with a consultant anesthetist so as to offer you safe and effective sedation as recommended by the DOH. Blood pressure,pulse and oxygen saturation are continuously monitored in our sedation clinics
Afraid of needles? No fear For people with a fear of needles, a surface anaesthetic can be provided to the back of the hand. You will be required to come half an hour before your appointment for this to be applied, as it takes time to work.
For the extreme needle phobic, inhalational sedation can be provided and then when in a dream-like state, a needle can be applied to the back of the hand, and drugs given intravenously.
